Mozetič Vladimir

Assistant Professor, MD, PhD, MHA, President of the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster, Croatia

Assistant Professor Vladimir Mozetič, MD, PhD, MHA, was born in 1967 in Rijeka, Croatia. He graduated from the Medical Faculty in 1991. He worked at the Department of Urology, University Hospital Center Rijeka, firstly as young researcher and afterwards as urologist. Since 2006 he has been employed in private Special Hospital Medico in Rijeka, and from 2008 he was the director of the Medico until 2016. From 2017 till 2022 he was director and urologist at the Community Health Center of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. He works as consultant urologist.

Dr Mozetič is the President of Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster from 2014. He is a member of the European Urological Association as well as the Governing Board of the Croatian Society of Urology. Dr Mozetič is a member of working groups in both Ministries of Health and Tourism and Sports in the fields of healthcare, health industry and health tourism. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the ACAP Medical Tourism Task Forces.

He was selected as the scientific Educational Assistant Professor in 2012 at the Medical Faculty in the fields of urology and health management, and he also gained a specialization in the health care management. He is a lecturer at several faculties and business schools. In 2013 he received annual award as “Project Manager” from Croatian Manager Association (CROMA) and in 2015 he received annual award of City of Rijeka for the promotion of health care as important commercial branch in the region.
