Ms. Angeliki Katsapi is an International Health Services Accreditation Assessor, President of the International Board of Assessor, and from 2010 until today, representative of the International Health Services Accreditation Organization, Temos International Healthcare Accreditation GmbH (based in Germany) of Cyprus and Greece. Since 2021 she is an Advisor to the Regional Office of the World Health Organization Europe for the Quality and Safety of Health Services and an Expert of Expertise France for the technical support in the project of the reconstruction of Public Health in Greece.
Ms. Katsapi has been collaborating for the last two years with the Health Quality Assurance Organization of the Greek Ministry of Health, and directs the Euro-Mediterranean Institute for Quality and Safety of Health Services, Avedis Donabedian. She has 12 years of experience as a chief inspector and health services consultant in countries such as Turkey, Brazil, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Ukraine, Albania, Iran, Dubai, Philippines, China, Cyprus and Greece.
Between 2014 and 2019, she was the Head of Accreditation of the Swiss Certification Body Swiss Approval International. For 3 years she was also the Managing Director of SWISS APPROVAL in Greece. Between 2002 and 2012, she served in the Regional Health System of Central Greece and was the Director of Planning and Development Activities of the Anonymous Company of Health Units of the Ministry of Health.
She graduated from the Nursing School of the National University of Athens. She is awarded the MSc in “Health Informatics – Health Services Management” and she is an Accredited Assessor and Trainer of Assessors (EN 15224, ISO 37001, ISO 9001:2015). She is trained as Fraud Examiner – ACFE Organization – USA and certified in Value-Based Healthcare models by The Decision Institute, Netherlands.
